This story follows Botan, a loyal kunoichi, and her master, the young lord of a fallen clan. The two have developed a romantic relationship while living alone together in their mansion, and the lord has just proposed marriage. However, their plans are interrupted when the lord’s uncle, Gouzou, arrives and demands Botan’s services as a bodyguard for his dangerous trade business. Botan agrees to go for the sake of the clan’s finances, but Gouzou’s true intention is to exploit her sexually, leveraging a past encounter and her sense of duty to coerce her into an affair, creating a conflict between her physical desires and her love for her master.
